Sat Guru Maharishi Naval was born in the Vikram era 1840 in the month of Bhadrapad. It was the sacred dayVarious stories are current about the miracles made by Naval. Some such stories have been mentioned by Ram Ratan. They are as follow“Once a pet cow of his highness of Jodhpur State died. His Highness came to know about Naval mahraj, who was immediately called to His Highness’s palace and was requested to give life to the dead cow. Mahraj wrapped himself in a coarse cloth and sat in mediation. The cow became alive. “ A cobber’s son died in the city of Ajmer. The dead body of the boy was laid down near the Mahraj and the boy became alive. Similarly, in a religious gathering (Satsang) instead of sweets, some stones were kept. But when Mahraj touched them to distribute among the gathering, the stones at once turned into sweets. This was one of the reasons that Swami could attract his people all over the region.:.
